As a result, we built new learning materials for computer technology courses from the ground up in 2015, making them completely web-based. We preferred a deep mastery of the most important computing technologies over the thorough but superficial coverage of a broader range of topics.

Over 20 universities have adopted the material in its first year, either as a full course or as part of a course introducing computer science or computer programming, and instructor and student feedback have been extremely positive.
